Hexlet is an online programming school. Our experts conduct meetings with students in video format. Recordings of these meetings must be made available to students. For these purposes, Hexlet’s team created a YouTube channel where they save recordings of video meetings. Everything that goes on the channel is available only via a link. Links are sent to students in student chats.
The application is designed to automatically transfer video from the video meeting server (Zoom) to the YouTube server. This application cannot be used by anyone except Hexlet employees. The application does not have an external interface and works only in server-to-server mode.
The application does not enhances the functionality of the user in any way and is intended only for server-to-server operation. The YouTube API only allows you to upload videos with a user token, and the token can only be obtained through OAuth. Therefore, the application requires that one and only one YouTube channel administrator undergo Google authorization once.
